Lane Silva – Guitar, Recording, & Piano Teacher

Hi, I’m Lane Silva.  I am a guitarist and pianist offering guitar and piano lessons in Dunwoody, GA.  I have over ten years experience on my instruments and have been teaching over 3 years. I was first inspired to play the piano at age 9 when I got the opportunity to hear Maestro Chris Smith give a piano recital.  I begged my mom to get me lessons for a year, eventually getting the honor to study with Maestro Smith!  Along with teaching piano and guitar lessons, I also perform and record original music with my band Goodfires, play weddings with The Atlanta Wedding Band, score films, and engineer/produce recordings with local artists.  I am currently scoring an upcoming film starring Tom Green and working on a new EP with Goodfires.

I love teaching music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.  Music is my favorite art form, and I feel it is an enhancement to all of our lives.  Being able to lead a student into understanding music is an incredible experience. As a music teacher, I hope to instill a love of music with respect to each person’s individual goals and interests.
